EXCHANGE AND VALUE

The title takes its cue from Wollaton Hall which was built with stone, from near Kate Genever's family farm in Lincolnshire. Coal was sent as payment.

The work featured demonstrates tactics around making money and meaning on the farm; relationships; how the animal is produced.

Please note:

A free bus transfer will shuttle over to Wollaton Hall departing from One Thoresby Street. The bus will leave at 4:45pm prompt.

Sideshow 2010

In October 2010, Sideshow will take place for the second time round supporting the prestigious British Art Show 7, “In The Days Of The Comet” curated by Lisa Le Feuvre & Tom Morton, for its nationwide launch at Nottingham Contemporary, The New Art Exchange and The Nottingham Castle Museum & Art Gallery.
Sideshow complements Nottingham’s growing artist-led scene and do-it-yourself attitude towards contemporary art and will be made up of both, individual artists projects and selected commissions of new works.
